Massive Attack

Massive Attack, formation of the Bristol, alongside Tricky and Portishead, is considered a pioneer of trip hop. The team brought to life, in 1987, Robert '3 D 'Del Naja, artist who joined the Andrew "Mushroom" Vowles and "Daddy G" Marshall. Both men were already in Bristol musical environment, with his group the Wild Bunch. Apart from them this band formed by DJ Milo, Wee Willie, and Nellee Hooper, who also gave the band Soul II Soul. February 10, 2003 shows a fourth LP, Massive Attack, entitled "100th Window". Del Naja invited to the studio including Sinéad O'Connor, who gave his voice in three pieces: a charming "What Your Soul Sings," a moving  "A Prayer for England" and the gloomy soul-string "Special Cases". Horace Andy appears in "Everywhen" and worrying, melancholy "Name Taken". It is obvious that Massive Attack is already tired trip hop. The nine tracks that make up this album as a jump in the warm electronics, psychedelic atmosphere and deep dub reggae in the old style. In 2004, in October, was released the album "Danny the Dog" soundtrack to the thriller "Danny the Dog", which is a screenwriter and producer Luc Besson. Musicians reportedly enthusiastically accepted the proposal of the famous director and recorded within 21 weeks of eleven instrumental tracks. In March 2006, appears to further the work of Massive Attack. This is a greatest hits compilation of the band, entitled "Collected". The material consists of two CDs and one DVD. Compilation heralded a new recording of "Live With Me" featuring Terry Callier. On the B-side was the song "False Flags" - a new composition with Robert Del Naja on vocals, and an alternate version of the title piece of string arranger David Arnold accompanied by video recording, directed by Jonathan Glazer. Massive Attack's first album, titled "Blue Lines", was released in 1991 and immediately brought the group fame. On her hit songs such as "Daydreaming," "Unfinished Sympathy" and "Safe From Harm", and recording was attended by: singer Shara Nelson, Tricky and Horace Andy and the team Nelle Hooper. Almost identical to the composition of working on the second release the trio. Only Shara Nelson, who took up his solo career, replaced Nicolette and known for Everything But The Girl Tracey Thorn. CD released in 1994, and to promote her single "Protection", "Karmakoma" and "Sly". A year later appeared remixed tracks on this disc, performed by the Mad Professor, titled "No Protection". The following years have fully complied with a group of concerts, recordings and solo work for other artists, including Madonna on her album track reserved for the dedicated Marvin Gaye and remixes album "Milk" Garbage formation. Therefore, the third album from Massive Attack's "Mezzanine", was released only in 1998. Quickly found to be most urgent in trio's discography. This time the women's voices can be heard on the album belong to Elizabeth Fraser of the Cocteau Twins, and Sarah Jay. Singles from this release, "Teardrop" and "Inertia Creeps" have become big hits, also enjoyed a very successful concerts in the U.S. and European tour. Unfortunately, soon left the group Andrew "Mushroom" Vowles. Daddy G and 3 D continue his career as a duo, still too willing to assist other musicians, including David Bowie.
